Abbott House is a more than a place to live….it’s a place where girls are treated as family. Most of the girls come here with traumatic life experiences or personal issues that have stolen their youthfulness. We work individually with each child to help them heal and most importantly, to help them find hope. One of the unique projects we are working on, in partnership with Laura Klock, is rebuilding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Like the girls, the motorcycle came to us with issues that need to be healed. The girls have created the paint design for the motorcycle, taken the bike apart and named the bike Salt in reference to the significance of salt in the world.
Salt is rebuilt Harley Davidson Heritage Softtail, custom designed by Abbott House girls in partnership with Laura Klock and Helping with Horsepower. When you purchase a raffle ticket for this motorcycle, your support will help us change the lives of nearly 100 girls each year.
