Eric Klooz joined Abbott House as its Executive Director in April of 2005.  Prior to that time Eric served as the Program Manager at The Omaha Home for Boys in Omaha, Nebraska.  He held various positions in his 10 years at the boys’ home.  It was during this time that he focused his work on making changes within the family system, which he acknowledges as the key to success with children.
In addition to serving children Eric also served his country for 15 years as a member of the Army National Guard.  Eric ended his career with the military as the Headquarters Troop Commander of the 1-167th Cavalry.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and a Masters in Human Services.
Eric has a passion for helping children succeed and for encouraging families to stay connected.

Lana Andersen has been employed by Abbott House since 1978, as a teacher, Education Director and for the past 17 years as the Program Director.  She is a native of Letcher and received her B.A. degree from Dakota Wesleyan University and special education endorsement as a result of training at Augustana College.  Lana was formerly employed by the Mitchell School District as a teacher.  As a program director, Lana is responsible for all intake coordination and assumes all responsibility for Abbott House services.

Allen Lepke began working as the Development Director for Abbott House in January of 2007. A Mitchell native, Allen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Allen also serves on the Mitchell City Council and is currently serving his second term. He serves on the Chamber board of directors, the Golf/Cemetery Board, as well as a variety of other committees.

Allen enjoys serving his community and feels privileged to have the opportunity to work in a position that allows him to impact the lives of others.
